da Cruz Guitars is a work of passion. Learning a noble craft and getting lost in the pleasures of working with wood are the reasons I do this. Ending up with beautiful instruments that will last a generation or more is an incredible reward. This is slow luthiery, where things don’t happen fast. But they do happen, with devotion to quality and detail.

My focus for the moment is on building legendary guitar designs such as the masterpieces created by Leo Fender (Stratocasters, Telecasters, Jaguars, …) and Les Paul. This is a journey through classic solid bodies, bolted and set necks, semi-hollow electrics and acoustic guitars. Designs of my own will also make it to the workbench.
